Maple Leaf

Maple Leaf prides itself on its community spirit, and the fact that it was voted "U.S. Neighborhood of the Year" in 1986. This neighborhood, located northeast of Green Lake, east of I-5, south of NE Northgate Way, and west of 522 (Lake City Way NE), is composed of shaded streets and well-built houses. Its characteristic giant blue water tower stands emblazoned with painted white maple leaves.

The Maple Leaf area offers views of the Olympics and the Cascade Mountains. It also features excellent schools such as Olympic View Elementary, active churches, cafes, a puppet museum, and restaurants.

You'll also find thriving businesses here, and neighbors with a spirit of community in this century-old neighborhood. It is a working, but quaint, neighborhood, a mix of blue collar and down-home living. Single professionals, young couples and modest-income families all live here.

Home styles include bungalows, ramblers, colonials and builder homes, all of which are in high demand.
